Hello!

 

I am Vanessa Mayberry, the ginger haired, creative enthusiast, that would love to meet you! I am a newly based freelance wedding, portrait, and lifestyle photographer located in WInnipeg, MB. I recently moved from the beautiful city Vancouver, BC after studying acting for film and television. 

My life is based around the creative arts; painting, acting, editing or photographing. I've never been able to aim my focus on anything that wasn't art related.

I didn't enter photography knowing what particular genre to photograph. It was my first couple shoot I had done that showed me how much I can learn about life and love from two genuine people. 

 

My Style

 

Every couple has their own story. My job is to capture your story and your job is to simply be!  I want to make you feel comfortable and let you know that I don't expect anything out of you the day of our shoot. I will not ask you to reinact a moment or pose a way that is unnatural to you. I want everything you look back on to be a real moment. These photos are about two people that love each other and not what I want you two to be.

 I aim to capture moments in time of real reaction, and raw emotion. The photographs you can't reinact even if you tried are the memories you can look back on and relive.
